Mentoring was the main focus of the last seminar organised by the Erasmus+ WESTEMproject, which took place online on June 27th.
How can mentors support women in STEM at best? Which are the mentees’ needs? How will the Mentoring Program and the project’s Community represent the launching pad for women who are studying or shaping their future careers in STEM?
The questions were many, and mentors attending the seminar – Silvia Pallaver, Martina Lavagnini and Michela Minigher – were ready and willing to share their personal experiences in the field, as well as their point of view about the needs of young women facing the pivotal challenge to be successful in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Stay tuned tu know more about the project’s thematic axe of the month of July: we’ll talk about wage gender gap.
