BUILDING KNOWLEDGE AND KNOW-HOW THROUGH EUROPEAN BEST PRACTICES IN COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Building knowledge and know-how: this is the goal of the HECSOs(Higher Education institutions and Civil Society Organisations together for community engagement – Istituzioni di di Educazione Superiore e Organizzazioni della Società Civile insieme per il coinvolgimento della comunità).

Over a three-year period (2022-2025), the project, financed with Erasmus+ funds from the European Commission, aims to weave fruitful cooperation links between academia and local communities, with a view to public engagement .

What data have been collected so far? What do they tell us?

The data analysis of the multi-case study by HECSO has been published. The reportshows everything that has been done by HECSO so far, and includes

(1) The literature review,
(2) the initial questions, study methodology and results, and
(3) A description of the 16 case studies.
