S-NODI LEARNING COMMUNITY OPENS THE HECSOs SUMMER SCHOOL TODAY

S-NODI opened today, with the participation of about 30 students from Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Austria, the HECSOs project Summer School, an experimental educational path within the Community Engagement which is the outcome of a multiannual journey of research and cooperation among European Universities and Civil Society Organisations that renews and ipdates the framework of competencies of professionals of the future in engaging communities and territories for the local development.
Together with the theoretical insights provided by European experts, HECSOs Summer School gives values the practical know-how developed in local experiences.
We were hosted by the Social Community Theatre Center, a cultural centre that acts as a bridge between groups, communities, people and professionals via practices of cultural welfare. After the Opening Lecture of Professoressa Francesca Ricciardi, University of Turin, which is the project’s coordinator, the Professoressa Alessandra Rossi Ghiglione ‘s speech about the engagement of community members with a theoretical and practical introduction about the methods that are implemengted by the Social Community Theatre Center.
